Was It A Dream?

It's 1:00 am. I wake up with the start of a migraine - yay fun! I am tired, but I need Excedrin. Must get up and go to pantry or I will wake up in a world of hurtin.

Open bedroom door. Family room light is on. 3 year old son pops up from chair and says, "Hi mommy. I'm awake. How about something to eat?"

"No Aiden. You need to go to bed."

Son follows me to pantry. I open diet soda to swallow my pills.

"Mommy, it's too late for soda."

I shoot child the look of death.

"Mommy let's play."

"No Aiden, let's go to bed."

"Ok."

Aiden goes to bed with mommy and daddy. Mommy lays awake till 4. Falls asleep. Wakes at 6:30 to barking dogs.

"Mommy where is daddy?"

"Daddy went to work."

"YEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!"

The Naked Boy and His Sister

Aiden is a streaker. Each day when we get dressed he takes off and dances around naked. This morning I caught him in this unique pose, dashing underneath our foyer table.


I got to take some adorable shots of naked boy's sister this am. Her hair is getting so long, I did two barrettes.

The Finger

Ellyanna has discovered her new best friend, her index finger. She sucks it all day long and has rejected the binkie. It is adorable watching her suck away. Aiden never sucked his fingers and didn't want the binkie past 3 months, so this is a new experience for me. I love going in her room in the morning and seeing her sucking her teeny little digit.

New Landscaping

So in a nutshell, the first pic is the old, what you get on a standard tx new construction build. The other pics are the redo that I designed. I picked every plant and placement and a company came in to plant. We saved a lot of money that way. You wouldn't believe how much a "designer" tacks on for his/her ideas. We also worked on the back, but I will wait till the pool is done for those pics.

So Proud of Eric

Eric has decided to improve his health and has started lowcarbing with me. I am so proud of him. Now, Eric has always been able to eat whatever he wants and maintain his weight, but he wants to live a healthier lifestyle for the family. It's nice to be able to cook the same food for us!!!! I am sure he will be melting away here pretty quickly. He did atkins with me for my first month way, way back in 2000 and he lost weight easily and quickly.

As some of you may know I lost a over 100 pounds after Eric and I were married and have maintained my loss throughout 6 years and 2 pregnancies. I tend to switch back and forth between low carb and low cal depending on my body and mood.

As for me, I am back in my size sixes but they are still tight. I figure by Christmas I should be almost at goal. For now, here is the 5 month difference from Elly's day of birth, Elly at one week (Man I looked bad!!!) till this weekend at Six Flags.

Six Flags

We had a great day at Six Flags yesterday. Eric's company and a few others had bought out the park for the day. So, we got to go eat and play for free for the day with no/very short lines. The weather was perfect, and the food was horrible! But, the day was great. Aiden had a lot of fun and loved all the rides. However, he was not so fond of some of the characters roaming the park!!!!

Halloween 2007

Well, we had a wonderful night of trick or treating. Aiden dressed up as Po from Teletubbies. You would not believe the number of comments he got about how cute he was and how great his costume was. Ms. Elly wore her pumpkin sleeper with matching orange bow. We went around the neighborhood with our dear friend Mandy and her daughter Angelina. Angie dressed up as Cinderella. Aiden has more candy than he can possibly ever eat. It was wonderful weather, warm and pleasant. We had shorts on!!!!

We also baked lots and lots of homemade Halloween cookies this month, and Eric carved a pumpkin with Aiden on Sunday. It truly was a festive month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
