Recent Photos

I have fallen behind and need to get some new pictures up!

Below you will see Aiden helping me paint my pregnancy mold. The mold was made this Mother's Day, a month before Elly was born. As you can see, it took me awhile to paint it! But, I am glad I waited because Aiden had a ball helping me; he loves to paint.

Also, you will see some recent shots of the princess. The one in our bed was just shot a few minutes ago. Eric brought her to me about 5:30 and she was wide awake. I let her snuggle in my arms and she was out. Then, at 6:30 Aiden was up so I had to get up with him. So, I left the princess in bed and snapped a quick pic of her snoozing.

Two Cutie Patooties

Wow, time seems to be flying by. We have our final inspection on the new house on Monday and should be able to close late this week. Ellyanna continues to be gorgeous. She loves to be held much more than Aiden ever did at this age. She even cries in the car because she wants to be picked up. Aiden continues to be a ham. He made me laugh several times this morning. First, he brought out one of his books for me to read while I was feeding the baby. It was a book full of songs. When I started to sing to him he got mad (he doesn't like when others sing). He kept saying no mommy. Eventually he shouted, "Mommy, I can't stand it!" I guess my singing really does stink. Next, he told me that he wanted to hold the baby. This is the first time he has asked me that. I said it was ok but that mommy needed to help. At first, he had a big smile on his face but then started to say, "No mommy no! Aiden too big!" and made me take her. Finally, we were reading Green Eggs and Ham and he exclaimed, "Am is scary!" As you can see, things are never dull around our house.

Lunch With The Tubbies

Yesterday, I was working on the computer and got up to check on Aiden. I saw him at the table having what looked like a pretend lunch or tea party with his Teletubbies. He had placed one or two Tubbies in each chair and then sat down with them to play with his cars. Then, later in the day he was watching his Teletubbies DVD and said, "Look at the Tubbies run up the hill. Go Tubbies go!"

I guess he just loves his Tubbies.

I'm A Southern Belle!

Aunt Debbie and Uncle David were very sweet and sent Ellyanna this adorable Pooh Outfit. I couldn't wait to get little miss thing into it and shoot some pictures. Isn't she cute? She looks like a little southern belle.

Thank you Lange Family!

Tipsy Triangles

Sunday: 7/4/07 - Aiden plays "snakes" with the dogs. Playing snakes involves running around with his four foot long stuffed snake and saying "Sttttttttt, sttttttttt!" while he pushes the face of the snake onto whomever or whatever he can find.

7/5/07: Well, yesterday was interesting. We had two hightlights to our day. First, Miss Ellyanna rolled over TWICE on her playmat when I put her down for tummy time (this was only her second session). She rolled right over and had this sort of irritated, half-intrigued look on her face that made me laugh.
Then, later in the evening, Aiden was eating some of my baked Doritos when he came over and held one up and said, "Look Mommy, Triangle!" Now as a teacher and a mommy, that made me very proud.

Pictured Above: Ellyanna Does Tummy Time for the First Time on Sunday 7/4/07!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7/4/07: After playing snakes on Sunday, Aiden was tuckered out and passed out on the floor. He was in good company; his baby sister was sleeping too! I guess all that tummy time made her tired.

I'm the most beautiful girl

It seems each day I shoot about 20 to 30 pics of my daughter. I can't get over how precious she is. I don't want to miss a single day of her growing and changing and I can't seem to control myself with the camera. Time is flying by so fast already. I wish I could just freeze it for a bit to enjoy her more.............
